To Promote Scholarship
Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. recognizes Higher Education as a key element of a more just and prosperous society. Unfortunately, while today’s youth are born with similar abilities, they don't all enjoy access to the same opportunities. Lambda Theta Phi seeks to increase social mobility by supporting and promoting the pursuit of higher education for its members and within our communities..
To Practice Chivalry
To Practice Chivalry is being respectful of others' opinions, being kind and considerate to others, putting others before you. As a Lambda Theta Phi brother, It is our mission to practice chivalry qualities such as; Humility, Courage, Generosity, Discipline, Faith, and Equality for all; We are leaders of our communities and ambassadors of our organization, we must always be courteous men of honor and character, and lead by example. This is our pledge, as Lambdas, but most importantly, as Latino Men.
To Respect Culture
Our culture is about living our organizations values and allows our brothers to stay the course of what our Fraternal and Founding Fathers set forth in 1975. To the way we hold meetings to our involvement in the community, our creed provides us a blueprint of what we should always stay focused on and more than ever this holds true. The words in our creed are not "buzzwords" they are our true north...the map to our day to day dealings and organizational structure. It also guides our brothers on their interactions with each other and if any of our brothers deviates...our culture provides the map to come back. Our brothers have clear expectations of how to behave and work together. This is why with over 40 years of existence, our organization has flourished when our community needs it the most. Our brothers remember that in "Unity there is strength" and provides support to many causes around the world. Our culture plays an intrical role in bringing all brothers together since it breaks the boundaries that would normally be seen in an organization who lacks culture or mission.
